A recent article from Mashable discussed the future of event planning and the excessive efficiency that can be experienced with Twitter.

One specific example sited in the article spoke about an event where an attendee tweeted about being cold in the conference room. Due to the use of a hashtag, the comment was seen and responded to by the event planner. She then responded back to the tweet, apologized and had the facilities manager adjust the temperature.
